- Jules LaRue Added 2017-09-28★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Its great when the Williams Lake Stampede is around. They have a lot of other community events at this area as well. Movie nights during the summer, for example. This is the base for where the fireworks are as well, for Halloween. Everyone in Williams Lake takes part in the fireworks. There is a lot of parking, but when its a big event like the Stampede, its gets crazy busy, and they have people helping everyone to park, also like when the carnival is there too.
